We simply don't fit in. We are called to be crazy in love with God, living like Jesus, and grossed out by the world's ways of doing things. We might be mocked, but so was our Savior. We may not get invited to everyone's bbq, but we know the kind of person we were called to be. We'll strive to "set our minds on things above, not on earthly things."
We won't stay stuck sipping on milk...we're ready for that solid food. We might have a lot of junk in our past to deal with, but we are determined to grow, learn, and become more like Christ every day. It's not about perfectionism, but FREEDOM! We'll never stop fighting to be more and more free from the pain that sin brings.

ConPop started with a frustration...
It's one I think a lot of us share. We’ve been telling people what to believe and how to behave, but not how to build the bridge between them.
How many of these kinds of phrases have you heard, or even said to others?
They sound so nice. So hopeful. So important. And they are!
Yet, many times we don't know precisely what they mean in practice.
There are sincere believers out there trying hard, but desperately wondering why their lives don’t match the promises they hear.
The problem isn't that they don’t love God,
but that no one ever trained them how to live what they’ve learned.
I just wanted to help people get it.
Discipleship, when it's done right, should look like practice, not pressure.
I watched believers so many times nod along to a sermon, take notes, walk away inspired…then get frustrated when they still found themselves slipping up.
"The information is great, but what do I DO with the information?"
The problem wasn’t passion. It was practice. So I started building what I wish every communicator had: a creative, structured way to turn biblical wisdom into teachable, doable skills. That became the SkillStory System. It's a framework for books, sermons, podcasts, and more. And, more importantly, it's a way to give your audience permission to practice.
Now, through ConPop, I get to equip others to do the same—to build messages that lead to maturity, not just motivation.
